Mission Statement

Breaking the myth surrounding shipping and commodities supplies in the West African region and beyond by ensuring technological efficiency and unparalleled service.

Goal

With consistent foot prints the company has established an efficient and expedient business operations with the aim of :
1. Reaching the entire West African sub region with our clearing and forwarding, supply and distribution commodity chain by the year 2020.

2. Importation of semi bulk cement for bagging in Ghana and establishing efficient distribution centers across Ghana and West Africa by 2020.

3. Building Warehouses across the sub region for storage and distribution creating easy accessibility for our clientele.

Shareholding

The ownership of the company is currently as follows:

Mr. Yaw Jectey Nyarko, Managing Director of the company holds 44% share ownership and Mr Alex Dadey is the major shareholder with 51%. The remaining 5% is owned by Mr. Alex Quaynor.

Chairman and C.E.O

Mr. Yaw Jectey Nyarko: Holds a Diploma in Shipping and has done several other managerial courses. Mr. Yaw Jectey Nyarko is the chairman and chief executive officer of inter west coast company limited, and the founder of the company. He is a prudent businessman and has vast experience spanning over 30 years in shipping, import and export. This is combined with his firm knowledge in management and administration. He has several professional certificates including, Certificate of Proficiency by CEPS in 1986, Corporate Membership of Customs Brokers Association (CUBAG). Mr Y. J. Nyarko is also a member of the Institute of Administrators, Ghana

Mr. Alex Apau Dadey

Director

Mr. Alex Dadey is a product of Mfantsipim School, Cape Coast. He holds a BSc Admin degree from the University of Ghana – School of Administration, now University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). Alex is an Entrepreneur with 25 years’ experience in the corporate world of commerce. He started his career in 1986 in the United Kingdom, as an Export Sales Supervisor of D. S. Richman Ltd where he quickly rose through the ranks to become an Exporter Sales Manager of the company with responsibility for key accounts in ten countries, spread across Europe, the Middle East and Africa

Mr. Alex Quaynor

Director

Mr. Alex Quaynor is a practicing lawyer and holds LLB (Hons) BL in law. He is currently the Head of The Akufo – Addo, Prempeh and Co, a law firm. He has been associated with Inter West Coast Company Limited since 1996. Mr. Alex Quaynor is also the local Advisor of Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (an NGO) and Director of Glico – General Insurance Company Limited

Mr. Kwabena Sakyi Nyarko

Director / Secretary

Mr. Kwabena Sakyi Nyarko: He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree and Masters in Human Resource Management from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is a young and dynamic man, currently working with Qatar Airlines in Qatar.
